Can Do– 3 Ways to Reuse All Those Soup Cans

November 17th, 2011 by

I have been eating a lot of soup. And rather than send these perfectly good cans to the recycling center, I thought I might just go ahead and use them for something.

and if you would like to do so, add some extra touches!

Hope you’ve enjoyed my take on upcycled tin cans for your current soup-filled season!

My favorite part are the light patterns created with the self-designed candle holder. It’s basically like a party for the tabletop! :)

“Did you know one recycled tin can would save enough energy to power a television for 3 hours?”

Is that if you send it to a recycling center? Also, I love this, because I always up-cycle cans and jars. Currently I have 5 button jars, 1 can for colored pencils, jars for all of my candles, and multiple jars for random little knickknacks that I collect. :D

Hey Chelsea, yes, as opposed to developing a brand new can from scratch. Also, I’m so glad you use them for containers for different things. I think glass and tin are both pretty!
